Am really looking forward to Moondoggie going live.
I've just got a couple of questions though...
Firstly, I've already got an in-game site for my corporation that gets very little use simply because of the horrendous loading speed of the current IGB. Will that site continue to work in the new IGB, specifically regarding the special EVE headers. Will they remain the same? Or Will I need to tweak the site?
Secondly, Have we got a rough idea (ballpark figure, no accuracy needed) when the patch to include the new IGB will go live on Tranq?
Cheers, Raul

I'm trying to work on the new website for my corporation that I intend to launch on or shortly after Dominion launch day.
However I'm having trouble with the Javascript calls to pop up a trust request. I've tried both in the <body> tag and as a button, neither option causes a trust popup to appear in game.
The body tag is:
Quote: <body onLoad="CCPEVE.RequestTrust('http://register.fregecorp.com')">
the button tag is:
Quote: <button type="button" onClick="CCPEVE.RequestTrust('http://register.fregecorp.com')">Request Trust</button>
Why are neither of these trust popup functions working? The code is copied directly from the EVElopedia entry here: http://wiki.eveonline.com/wiki/IGB_Javascript_Methods
Any help please?

Well I've been doing some more testing tonight (after waiting over an hour and a half to get logged on!!!) and it seems even after granting trust, the Coldfusion command to retrieve headers is just not seeing the headers provided by EVE.
However the http://www.whatsmyuseragent.com website does correctly show the headers. So I'm baffled. This exact same method worked perfectly well on the old IGB.
I've whipped up a quick webpage to demonstrate. This page just outputs a list of your HTTP headers as obtained by the ColdFusion function GetHttpRequestData()
http://register.fregecorp.com/test.cfm
Try it for yourself on SiSi please and tell me what you think.

Originally by: Miss Moonwych I tried it and it's working.
The headers I get are:
EVE_TRUSTED
EVE_CHARNAME EVE_CHARID EVE_CORPNAME EVE_CORPID EVE_CORPROLE
EVE_STATIONNAME EVE_STATIONID EVE_SOLARSYSTEMNAME EVE_CONSTELLATIONNAME EVE_REGIONNAME
EVE_SERVERIP
This is when I use: http://register.fregecorp.com/test.cfm (first trust it without the "test.cfm")

Thanks M.M.
I think this might be an bug with the trust system in Moondoggie then rather than anything specific to ColdFusion. In the old IGB currently on Tranquility, you could trust an entire domain by adding ".fregecorp.com" (without the quotes). Any site loading under that domain, such as register.fregecorp.com, www.fregecorp.com, etc would get trust. I did the same thing in MoonDoggie and it seems that is the cause of the problem.
Strangley though, the icon in the status bar of the browser indicates the site is trust, but it actually isn't.
Try it for yourself. Untrust http://register.fregecorp.com, and then add trust for .fregecorp.com. Now try my page again. Note that the icon in the status bar indicates te page has trust, but the results clearly indicate otherwise. Definate trust bug there I think.
What is the preferred syntax for trusting an entire domain in Moondoggie?

Originally by: CCP Nimbus I will take a look into this tomorrow, thanks for letting us know
Thanks Nimbus. I thought I was going crazy there for a while trying to figure out why the headers were not showing despite the site being trusted. But I'm glad it's just a simple issue with the trust system.
Note: The bug report for this is 85286 https://bugs.eve-online.com/mybugreports.asp?Action=View&ID=85286

hope this will be possible. ty
Definitely need a portrait generation system. Even if they can't do src="portrait:characterID" like before, perhaps they could put up a portrait serving system on their website instead. Something like src="http://www.eve-online.com/portraitgenerator/portrait.asp?characterID=1234567890&size=64".
That would be ideal as we could use it to generate portraits of any size to suit our needs.
Something like the one below, but capable of dishing out images of any size:
<img src="http://avatars.eve-search.com/serv.asp?s=64&c=1234567890" height="80" width="80" border="0">
What say you lovely CCP people?

Originally by: Shereza Just out of curiosity, would it be possible to have the new IGB work with the default (or at least default in IE and Firefox) page forward/back mouse bindings?
I just looked at the browser for the second time ever today and it looks nice and felt nice until the first time I hit one of my mouse buttons to back up a page and got no response. It's like a bad flashback to the days of three-button mice.
Still, that aside it looks good so far.
I second that request. Basic functionality of the back and forward buttons on mice is a must, if not for Dominion, but for Dominion.0.1
